Forgiveness

 Mercy, a virtue,

one of the hardest to attain...

considered useless and a farce, by one who has been harmed,

and faced immense pain!!

But among all the virtues, one can attain,

the strength required to forgive,

can withstand even drought, snow and rain!

As during famine and war, in times full of hatred and disdain,

Precious is even a drop of water, and even a single grain...

And if you receive some mercy, what more can one possibly gain??

While most, on others, they feed,

and on them feed, and grow,

their lust, gluttony and greed...

Their envy, their malice, fills with vain pride, their holy chalice,

and their sloth towards change, plus the growth of their rage,

will destroy all as wrath takes birth, and submit themselves to fear,

who will give them a final kiss!!

Whereas chastity, temperance and charity,

will forever stand against their vanity,

humility and kindness, continue to lay low...

Waiting for a time to come out of the shadows,

patience then befriends diligence,

ready to go down, honor enters, and self-control aids,

and then the mastered self tries to again rise, and shiver, their foes!!

But be it for friends, or foes,

after mistakes, understanding rarely grows!

Then, if wise Gnostics, or conscious souls only just intervene,

and their guidance as they take the lead, their courage that soars and roars,

their voices that can now be heard,

will point towards the joys and sorrows, of every animal, or bird...

Hearts will now gleam, brim and sheen!

Truth will again be heard, due to the keen!!

And once more, abundance will fill, all will prosper as well as heal,

and the lands will again be green!!!

Mercy will forgive you, forgive me, and forgive us all, will give a chance...

So we must all mend, correct and change...

For, the Chance, that Mercy gave us, 

can be made good use of, and we all can once again freely,

DANCE !!!
